Wattpad and Amazon
‘Naked Came the Vampire‘, ‘Siren Song‘, ‘Conclave‘, ‘Purity‘ all came in for editing and revisions. That first revisions are all up on Wattpad. They are also republished on Amazon and enrolled in KDP there.
Books 1-15 are up on Wattpad, and Maria and Unwanted Power are being posted now.
Books 1-10 are up on Amazon in KDP. The only reason 11-14 are not up there is that it takes forever to post a book and I have to block out time for it. Sometime soon I’ll get a ’round tuit’
I’m re-writing ‘Unwanted Power‘ slowly, and be posting it to Wattpad as I go. It’s in the world, but not the same characters or even evolved Vampires. It’s my superhero story.
The Books
All the books up on Amazon are now enrolled in KDP. That means people can read them for no additional charge if they are subscribed to the Kindle Unlimited program. Paperback versions are also available. Price varies according to page count of the book.

One thing they have in common is their shoes: Shoes that have not been made yet, according to the manufacturer. Along the way, the people trying to control Morgan’s life also try to interfere with the investigation, but Morgan will not be deterred. She will live her life as she sees fit, and she will find out who is killing these young men.

Siren Song

Vampires thought they wiped out Sirens thousands of years ago. Sirens are not really very happy with them for that and decide to announce to the Vampires that they are back by kicking in Adrian’s teeth. Literally.
Conclave

Sirens are a bunch of misogynistic assholes, but on the other hand, they are all willing to die if the Vampires try to destroy them again and take the Vampires with them this time. This requires a conference, and Helen buys just the executive retreat for it. Too bad a new ancient threat decides to check-in.
Purity

As if it’s not bad enough Jessica, Helen and Adrian are having to hide all sorts of things from Humans and Vampires alike, now it turns out there is a human hate organization that specifically would like to find and kill Vampires. Morgan comes up with a plan to find them first. All she has to do is pretend Adrian is a Vampire lothario and she is his victim.
Vampire Drug Lord

Morgan and Adrian visit Jessica and Diana at Jessica’s free clinic in Mexico (part 1) and learn about the problems plaguing Pueblo Lorca. Adrian is forbidden from the kitchen as well. (part 2) opens with Cert arriving to help free Jessica and Diana after she is captured and taken North to save the life of a Drug Lord after internecine warfare seriously injures him and kills the Cartel Doctor. Cert and Adrian get along no better than they did in Conclave. (part 3) A new complication arises when it is discovered on the of warring Cartels to the north of the clinic is led by a Rogue Vampire. Worse, she does not KNOW what a vampire is or how one is supposed to behave. Now the Crew must turn its attention to the much larger issue of maintaining the Vampire Secret.

Adrian goes to a technical conference in India. On the way home, human purists capture him directly from the airport in Turkey. Adrian escapes and goes on the run across Eastern Europe. Changing The World

A murder mystery of sorts (sort of a bookend to Lonely Dancer) that uncovers a much larger international situation and puts Morgan and Adrian in the crosshairs. Jessica and Helen are not amused. Includes the short story ‘Vampires from Tulsa’.
Vampires from Tulsa (Short):
Two less than bright Vampires decide that they need to have a talk with Adrian. They attempt to kidnap him to have that conversation. They were not counting on Morgan and Jessica. The revelations they bring will change the Vampire world (why this short is being published as part of Book Nine). Denise will change her life because of it.
Ninovan

As Adrian, Jessica, and Helen try to help Angel get over the trauma of her past, Morgan digs into the mystery of what Angel even is. This leads to a road trip to Lousiana, a visit with the faux-witches (from book 8), and a discovery that will change how the Vampire and Siren worlds view themselves and each other.

The PacRim Geo decides they are not so thrilled with all the innovations that NorthAm and Euro are introducing into the Vampire world, so they send an assassin. A week offshore, isolated from the world of humans.

Unwanted Power
A while back I wrote a ‘script’ for a graphic novel called ‘Unwanted Power’ It had a lot of names before I finally settled on that.
Nothing happened with it. I never found an artist to draw it, and my artistic talents are far too feeble. See the book covers I drew for details. Even the good ones took days. For one frame. No way to draw this.
It went on the shelve for a while, and I decided to re-write it after book I finished Maria as a regular novel. I changed a great deal as a writer between the initial draft and the rewrite so it took a while. But as of April 17, 2022 the re-write is complete and up on Wattpad! I’ll be getting it out on Amazon soon too.
Unwanted Power is about Heather Adams. A mother and computer programmer who comes into the ability to control energy in all of its forms. As her Universe opens up, Heather finds herself up hunted in the Localverse. Her touchstones are her husband and her daughter. Everything is about protecting and being with them. No matter how threatened and concerned the powers that be are about her.
Maria
Hypernaturals Prequel
Maria is complete! She rolled in at nearly 400,000 words before all was said and done.
Maria is Jessica’s story. How she, as Maria Rios, came to leave her family. Met Helen. Learned to fly. Became a Doctor and a Dentist. How her wild child and her anger was tamed and focused. Not before she screwed her way from coast to coast (along with Helen, of course).
This is how Maria became Jessica and ended up on top of a hill looking downslope at a young man that would change the course of her life once again.
The adventures in the HN series are not the first time Maria/Jessica had a life-changing experience.
Mother of Magic
New World of Magic
In talking to various readers about my books, it came up I never wrote a magic book. In fact, I steered utterly away from magic in my Vampire books because there are a ton of Magic Vampires out there.
But the conversation got thoughts going about a fun way to approach magic. How to keep it inside my themes and ideas, but have a world where magic is allowed.
The fun thing is that it is a multi-dimensional world, in that it starts on a world where baseball is integrated, male and female. A world mostly like this one, but with a few things fixed. Baseball teams here do not have names, just locations. Colorado for example.
When magic comes into it. it is another, different world with even more differences
Technically, it could be in the same literary universe as Unwanted Power in that way: Heather often talks about the multiverse, except she calls them the Localverse and the Universe.
As of this writing (New Year’s Eve, 2022), I’m 45,000 words in, and it’s being posted once a week on Wattpad.
Other Books
Possible Morgan Olsen Book: Morgan Olsen is perpetually in trouble at her job. There is a group inside the department in positions of power that do NOT want her to succeed at the rate that she is, especially as she will NOT be put in her place. She dates who she wants, when she wants, and damn the consequences. There are scattered references to this set of events in the Hypernaturals books.
Possible Morgan Olsen Book: Morgan Olsen has always thought her mother long dead. That is what her mother wanted her and her father to think, and for good reason. Once Morgan figures out that she is alive, she is determined to find her, which takes her across the country digging up clues, and where Morgan uncovers a hidden world. There are scattered references to this set of events in the Hypernaturals books. This event is the bridge between the detective books and the Hypernaturals ones.
Future (working title) or ‘Vampires in Space’

Novel or novella: 300 years from now, the Earth situation for Vampires is dire. The Sagan family spread out around the solar system. Adrian lives on Mars and designs space ships. But he still has ties to Earth and Victoria. He also finds out the Earth has a surprise for him personally.
Novel: 500 years in the future. Vampires are out among the stars. Cert is still a pain in the ass. 100k plus words written
A note about Kobo and Google Books
I have retracted the first three Hypernaturals books from both platforms (I was never up on Apple books). The rules of KDP say I can’t have them there: They have to be exclusive to KDP. So, unless a publisher comes along and wants the series, they are on KDP where people can read them via the bookshelf / loaner program.
The Morgan Olsen books were never on either platform: They were always KDP.
